- National Spinal Cord Injury Association: This is our national associations
new and improved web site. Here you'll find a lot of links to other chapters,
medical information, transportation, and other related sites.
- The Boulevard: This is a large site with links to medical and health
supplies, aids to independent living, transportation, wheelchairs, and home
modifications.
- Hank's Outdoor Journal: This is an informational web site for those with
disabilities who enjoy the outdoors especially, fishing, camping, and boating.
There are also links to other helpful web sites.
- Able
Project: This is a non-profit organization that empowers individuals with
disabilities by helping them find mobility and assistive devices such as
wheelchairs, clothing, and lifts at competitive prices. Their services are
free of charge and are an excellent resource for finding hard to find items.
- The
Ability Center of Greater Toledo: This is a no-profit organization that is
very active in and around the Toledo area. They provide resources for
information on independent living, transportation, accessibility, and a number
of other services.
- Fishing
Has No Boundaries: This organization has chapters all over the United
States that work to allow disabled individuals the opportunity to return to
the outdoors and to enjoy a few days away from home so that they may go
fishing and even boating. This is purely a non-profit group that uses an all
volunteer system for each of their chapters.
